Cartrack is a leading global provider of SaaS-based fleet management, vehicle tracking, and telematics solutions, operating in over 20 countries. We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded Commercial Legal Officer to join our Legal team at our Rosebank Head Office.
Job description
As a Commercial Legal Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the business by providing practical legal advice, reviewing and drafting commercial agreements, managing legal risk, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across multiple business units, helping drive business objectives while protecting the company's legal interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements.
- Provide legal guidance to internal stakeholders on commercial and operational matters.
- Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, regulations, and company policies.
- Assist with contract lifecycle management and legal documentation.
- Support the business with dispute resolution and legal queries.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver practical, business-focused legal solutions.

Minimum requirements
- BCom Law or LLB
- Admitted Attorney (preferred).
- 3–5 years' experience in commercial law or an in-house legal environment.
