Responsibility:
• Improve operational management systems (app and dashboards), processes, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Plan driver allocation to ensure client Service Level Agreements (SLA) are adhered to
• Monitor and supervise the driver operations to ensure optimal outcomes
• Manage the organization’s operational budgets, ensuring efficient utilization of resources
• Manage and supervise direct reports, including task allocation, setting deadlines, and monitoring performance
• Manage strategic partnerships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring their compliance with the company’s needs and demands
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives aligned with organizational goals
• Analyze not only operational data but also financial data to identify opportunities for improving profitability
• Perform quality controls and monitor production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure consistent, high-quality output
• Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures to mitigate potential risks

Minimum requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in last-mile delivery or delivery logistics operations, with a track record of driving operational excellence and achieving outstanding results.
- Proven experience managing multiple departments and business units.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Demonstrates experience in optimising delivery operations, improving efficiency, and meeting Operational and Financial KPIs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
