You will lead a team of Commercial Relationship Managers to achieve and exceed sales targets, drive new business growth, and strengthen Cartrack’s market presence through effective coaching, process improvement, and strategic use of CRM tools.
Job description
- The main purpose of the position is to achieve and exceed sales targets by managing the Commercial Relationship Managers
- Coaching the team towards generating new business, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of the RM’s is key to the success of this role.
- Acquire competitor information as well as industry developments and network with potential customers and business partners in an effort to promote Cartrack’s Fleet Management Solution and VAS
- Achieve CRM targets, utilize the system to enable increased sales outcomes
- Develop competencies and processes required to create an effective and efficient sales team
Minimum requirements
- Grade 12
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- 3-5 years’ experience in commercial/B2B sales
- 1–2 years’ in a supervisory or team lead role
- Solution orientated
- Industry experience in [e.g. fleet management, logistics, telecoms, software] is a plus
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
- High level of EQ with strong negotiation skills
- Applied Excel at Intermediate/Advanced Level
- CRM applied experience
