As a Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping how we communicate with our customers across digital channels, ensuring consistency, clarity, and a great customer experience.
Job description

● Create, review, and optimize client-facing communications across WhatsApp, SMS, email, and call scripts
● Support sales and customer care teams with clear, engaging, and on-brand messaging
● Assist with the development of communication templates for B2B and B2C customer journeys
● Adapt messaging for different audiences, products, and service scenarios (including scheduling and support)
● Ensure tone, grammar, and messaging consistency across all communication channels
● Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Sales, Customer Care, and Marketing
● Update and maintain communication libraries, templates, and scripts
● Monitor communication effectiveness and suggest improvements

Minimum requirements

● National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 (required)
● Diploma or Degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field (advantageous)
● 1–3 years’ experience in a copywriting, content writing, SEO, marketing, or communications role
● Strong writing skills with a focus on short-form, conversion-driven messaging
● Experience working with email, SMS, WhatsApp, or similar customer messaging channels
● Data-driven mindset with the ability to improve messaging based on performance
● Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities
● Exposure to sales and/or customer service environments (B2B and B2C)
● Confident, extroverted personality with strong interpersonal skills
● Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment
● Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to take ownership of tasks
