The main purpose of the position is to provide application support to internal and external customers and resolve technical issues.
Job description

        Proficient in both written and verbal communication

        Strong verbal communication skills

        Capable of performing effectively under pressure

        Minimum 2 years SQL working experience and knowledge

        Skilled in SQL, particularly PostgreSQL, primarily for executing "selects" for troubleshooting and reports.

        Familiarity with Procedural SQL (PL/SQL) is advantageous.

        T-SQL and SQL for analytics, akin to standard SQL.

        Basic command line proficiency in Linux is a plus.

        Experience in Python is an additional asset.

        Prior experience working in an international context is advantageous.

        Proficiency in email management, particularly Microsoft Outlook.

        Familiarity with Excel (basic proficiency), with an advanced skill set as a bonus.

        Experience in the telematics field is a valuable asset.

        Familiarity with any ticketing system is a beneficial skill.

Minimum requirements

        National Senior Certificate/ Grade 12.

        IT qualification will be an advantage.

        Prioritise and manage multiple tasks and adapt to challenging situations.

        MS Office Package (Excel – Intermediate).

        Working knowledge of IT infrastructure environment, Linux and SQL.

        Excellent communication skills, being able to convey complex and difficult issues both verbally and in writing to customers with varying   levels of technical expertise. Experience in a Professional Management Tool will be beneficial.
