Introduction
Picup, our system integration partner that specialises in last-mile delivery and online management software is seeking an Integrations Engineer to support seamless client integrations and backend API solutions for major clients.
Job description
- Develop and maintain backend API integrations for client onboarding and data synchronization
- Build and optimize database connections and data mapping solutions for client-specific
requirements - Implement Web API endpoints (REST) and webhooks to facilitate seamless data exchange with
client systems - Support the development of custom .NET solutions tailored to individual client needs
- Assist in database schema design and optimization for new client integrations
- Maintain and update integration documentation and technical specifications
- Monitor integration performance and implement improvements to ensure reliable data flow
- Support client technical teams during integration testing and go-live phases
Minimum requirements
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
- Strong experience in C# development (.NET Core and .NET Framework 4 and above)
- Solid experience working with Relational Databases, particularly SQLServer and PostgreSQL
- Proven experience in building and consuming Web APIs (SOAP/REST) for system integrations
- Strong SQL skills with ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, and database
optimization - Good understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns
- Experience with API authentication methods (OAuth, JWT, API keys)
- Ability to work directly with clients to understand technical requirements and provide solutions
- Experience with JSON/XML etc data formats and transformation
- Linux server experience for deployment and troubleshooting
