Responsibilities:
Driver & Team Management
● Build and maintain strong relationships with drivers, fostering loyalty and professionalism.
● Oversee driver presentation and ensure brand standards are met at all times.
● Conduct driver onboarding and refresher training sessions, ensuring full understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
● Address and resolve driver misconduct or performance issues promptly and fairly.
Operational Planning & Dispatch
● With support from our Zone Planning team, the Hub Coordinator should plan and allocate drivers based on expected order volumes and delivery routes.
● Manage daily dispatch operations, ensuring all orders leave on time and are correctly assigned.
● Coordinate and monitor multiple delivery timeslots per day (currently one, with plans to expand).
● Ensure deliveries meet SLA requirements, and proactively address issues that could cause delays.
● Oversee the returns process, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of all returned parcels.
Hub Administration & Continuous Improvement
● Monitor and maintain dispatch equipment (computers, scanners, printers), ensuring functionality and readiness.
● Order replacement or additional equipment ahead of depletion to prevent downtime or delays.
● Maintain accurate hub-level reports, including attendance, dispatch stats, returns and exceptions.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
● Track and report key metrics such as dispatch start time, delivery completion time, and SLA compliance.
● Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce delays in daily operations.
- Work closely with central operations and business development teams to align on client expectations and performance goals.
Minimum requirements
● 2 years’ experience in logistics, operations, or delivery management (preferably last-mile).
● Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a hands-on management style.
● Solid understanding of driver routing, delivery SLAs, and dispatch workflows.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to guide and train users confidently.
● Good administrative and reporting skills.
● Proficiency with basic operational systems and mobile dispatch tools.
