Cartrack is looking for passionate Fitment Technicians to join our Technical teams across South Africa. As a Fitment Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining all Cartrack vehicle tracking and recovery system according to the Cartrack fitment techniques and quality standards.

• Attend all training sessions scheduled
• Ask questions to increase knowledge base
• Observe training officers / Fitment Service Inspectors / Regional Technical Fitment Supervisors and apply through on-the job training
• Communicate and explain the product package clearly to customers
• Ensure that tracking device is installed properly and according to standard first time round 
• Effectively communicate with schedulers
• Arrive on time for scheduled fitments
• Keep to the scheduled fitment time allocated

Ideal 

• Applicable electronic or electrical equipment certificate
• Auto Technician Qualifications

 

Experience required (minimum):

• 2 to 5 years Industry experience, i.e. Fitment Technician level
• 2 to 5 years after-market products
• 2 to 5 years SVR & Fleet Tracking and Monitoring (advantageous)
